The Chat feature in Complex.so makes it easy to stay in touch with your team and keep the conversation flowing. Once your workspace has two or more members, you’ll see the Chat feature pop up in the sidebar. Each space you create automatically gets a dedicated chat to keep conversations on-topic, while private 1-on-1 chats allow for personal discussions.


Why Use Chat?

How to Access Chat

To start using Chat:

  • Navigate to the sidebar on the left side of your screen.

  • If you have two or more members in your workspace, you will see the Chat feature.

  • There’s also a Chat button in each space with two or more members, located in the bottom-right corner.

Click on the Chat functionality to open the chat options, where you can start conversations, reply to messages, and stay up-to-date with the latest discussions.


How to Manage Conversations

To keep your chats organised:

  • Sidebar: In the chat sidebar chats are categorized in space chats and 1-on-1 (private) chats. Space chats are added automatically while 1-on-1 chats you have to start yourself.

  • Search Messages: Use the search icon in the top-right corner to quickly find specific conversations or messages.
